Every project we've touched has its own story. Some came to us as empty lots, others as century-old buildings needing new life. Here's what we've been up to – the buildings that keep us coming back to the drawing board, excited for the next challenge.
West Vancouver – We took this sloped lot overlooking the ocean and created something that feels like it grew there naturally. Lots of glass, natural materials, and a roofline that doesn't fight the landscape.
Downtown Vancouver – This former industrial site needed a complete rethink. We kept the original steel framework visible inside and wrapped it in modern glass. Now it's one of those buildings people actually want to work in.
Gastown – This 1912 building was falling apart when we got the call. Spent two years bringing it back – original brick, restored windows, updated everything behind the walls. It's still standing strong and looks better than ever.
North Vancouver – The clients wanted something that felt warm and modern at the same time. We used BC timber throughout, big open spaces for their kids to run around, and views that make you forget you're in the city.
Richmond – LEED Platinum certified and honestly one of the most satisfying projects we've done. Solar panels integrated into the design, rainwater harvesting, green roof – the whole nine yards. Utility bills are almost nothing.
False Creek – Old shipping warehouse that sat empty for years. We converted it into creative office spaces while keeping all that industrial character. Exposed beams, original concrete floors, new skylights flooding the place with light.
Mount Pleasant – Series of three laneway homes that actually feel spacious despite the tight footprint. Smart layouts, tons of natural light, and each one's got its own personality while fitting the neighbourhood vibe.
Kitsilano – Farm-to-table concept that needed a space to match. We used reclaimed wood from BC barns, local stone, and created this warm atmosphere where the architecture doesn't compete with the food. It just sets the stage.
Surrey – Our first certified Passive House and wow, what a learning curve. Super-insulated, airtight, heat recovery ventilation – basically a house that barely needs heating. The owners' first winter bill was less than $50.
Strathcona – 1890s Victorian that had been chopped up into apartments. We brought it back to a single-family home while respecting every original detail. Took forever finding matching crown moldings but totally worth it.
Whether it's a blank canvas or a building with history, we'd love to hear what you're thinking. Let's grab a coffee and talk about what's possible.
